ALBION star Alexis Mac Allister is thrilled that he has made his debut for Argentina.
The midfielder started La Albiceleste's World Cup Qualifier against Venezuela, alongside the likes of former Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Mac Allister was replaced in the 70th minute by PSG attacker Angel Di Maria. Argentina would win the game 3-0, thanks to goals from Messi, Di Maria and Nicolas Gonzalez.
The Albion midfielder took to social media after the game to express his joy at making his debut.
He said: "Very happy to have officially debuted with the Argentine national team and in such a special place."
"Thank you very much to all those who accompanied me/accompany me day by day on this path and make all this possible.
"Let's go Argentina."
Mac Allister has started to become an instrumental player at club level this season as manager Graham Potter has put more faith in the playmaker.
The 23-year-old has made 24 appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring four goals and two assists.
