LEO Ostigard was sent off in his most recent game for loan club Genoa.

The centre-back joined the Rossoblù in January on loan after being recalled from his Stoke City.

Since his arrival in Serie A, Ostigard has been in good form Genoa and has become a regular in the first team.

However he will now be suspended for his new club after he was given his marching orders following a tackle on Torino's Armando Izzo.

Ostigard was given a yellow card, his second of the match, which meant VAR could not intervene. Replays showed that the Norwegian made very little contact with the Italian.

The dismissal would not cost his side though as they would go on to win the game thanks to a solitary goal from Manolo Portanova, the club's first win in eight matches.

Genoa are now 19th in Serie A, but are unbeaten in their last eight games, a run which includes seven draws. They are three points from safety.
