ALBION boss Graham Potter has confirmed that Adam Lallana suffered a injury to his hamstring against Liverpool.
The midfielder joined the action as a substitute at half time, replacing Steven Alzate.
The former England star however only lasted five minutes before he was forced off the pitch with Pascal Gross replacing him.
It was a shame for the former Liverpool man who would have been relishing playing against his old side. Especially as he was seen joking with former boss Jurgen Klopp before kick off.
When asked about Lallana's injury, Potter said: "I think it was a slight feeling in his hamstring. We will see how he is.
"It is one of those things. We will support Adam. He's been fantastic for us, a great person, great player. So we need to help him.
"It is a difficult situation for him."
It is not yet known if Lallana will be fit to face Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening.
If Lallana is out of the match, Albion will have to rely on Jakub Moder or Gross to replace his impact on the team.
