How Albion players rated in the 3-1 defeat at Tottenham.
Robert Sanchez 6/10
Given a major let-off when he gifted Kane a chance. Otherwise a sound performance and made some routine saves one would expect of him.
Adam Webster 5/10
Could never exude the confidence and authority we are used to seeing. Stumbled in possession for the first goal and well beaten by Son to set up the third. No doubt he will respond impressively to this off-night.
Lewis Dunk 6/10
A little unlucky when it seemed he had baled Webster out on the third goal but was later reprieved by Bergwijn after an error. Good to see him back after injury.
Marc Cucurella 6/10
Unusually quiet. Seemed initially to be playing on the left of a three when Albion were in possession which limited the attacking width he could offer. More from him in the second half.
Tariq Lamptey 6/10
Invited to scamper well forward and added a good option but Tottenham kept him under control.
Adam Lallana 5/10
Might have made more of a half-chance he tried to flick goalwards. Was unusually quiet in the first half and taken off at the break.
Yves Bissouma 8/10
Came more into the game as the first half progressed and was a huge force in the second. So hard to shake off the ball or force him out of his stride.
Pascal Gross 6/10
Always thoughtful in his attempt to thread passes and was involved in many of Albion’s better moves, which can be overlooked.
Solly March 6/10
Diligent and unfortunate as he tracked back on the move which out an own goal against at his name. Struggled to make anything happen.
Jakub Moder 5/10
Occasionally popped up in handy attacking areas but now needs to be more precise in his shooting. Curled two efforts too high when well-placed, the first after his own strong tackle secured possession.
Neal Maupay 5/10
Off target in the first half and then failed to get off a decent attempt when clean through just after Spurs’ third goal. Battled hard against strong defenders but nothing really worked for him.
Subs - Joel Veltman 7/10
Left in Son’s wake for the final goal but also did some good work defensively and going forward after his half-time introduction.
Moisés Caicedo 6/10
Some promising little signs in a fairly advanced midfield role.
Danny Welbeck 6/10
One decent glancing header which Lloris saved.
Evan Ferguson n/a
Sent on for the final stages.
