How Albion players rated at home to Chelsea.
Robert Sanchez 7/10
Like many, seemed to be taken by surprise when Ziyech let fly from outside the box. Otherwise did a decent job and was a big barrier to deny Lukaku a winner.
Joel Veltman 7/10
Very sound again. Consistent and dependable and offers the versatility to allow Albion to change set-ups.
Adam Webster 9/10
Led the team to a point as skipper. Commanding at the back, confident on the ball, measured in his passing and this time with the right finish when he met a pinpoint corner.
Dan Burn 8/10
Has come into his best form for the club at a great time. Appears to be thriving on extra responsibility.
Tariq Lamptey 7/10
Pushed well forward, as at Stamford Bridge, and looked to cause Alonso problems. Produced some magical moments.
Pascal Gross 7/10
Some astute passing, the pick of which sent Welbeck in on goal, and was hard-working and competitive in midfield.
Steven Alzate 8/10
This is how to take your chance to shine. Has struggled for opportunities but his ability to keep the ball and find passes in tight areas stood out.
Alexis Mac Allister 8/10
Offers so many facets in midfield, allowing him to drop deeper or be a supplement to the attack. Threaded play together nicely at times and the delivery for the goal was spot-on.
Marc Cucurella 8/10
juat seems to produce the same performance game after game after game. Electric down the left (and elsewhere on occasion).
Jakub Moder 7/10
Part of an impressive team performance and again strode into some dangerous position. One would like to think that first Prem goal will be a breakthrough moment and many more will follow. He certainly gets into the positions.
Danny Welbeck 6/10
Stretched the defence and got into good positions as he led the attack but the finish was lacking.
Subs - Neal Maupay 6/10
Looked very eager to impress after going on as sub. Almost too eager at times. Nothing quite fell for him.
Leandro Trossard 7/10
Some moments of promise after going on with Maupay.
Solly March n/a
Helped Albion protect what they had and threaten to grab more.
