FORMER Albion striker Darren Bent has suggested that star player Yves Bissouma is "gettable" for other teams in the Premier League.
The midfielder has been a standout player for Albion in the last two seasons and has attracted interest from clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham.
Bent, who made five Championship appearances for Albion in 2014, believes that a club could prize him away from the club.
He also admitted that he would "like" to see Arsenal move for the player.
On Talk Sport, Bent said: "I would like to see Arsenal go and get Yves Bissouma from Brighton.
"I really like him, I think he's a top, top player. I think he's gettable as well.
"Him and Partey in the middle of the park, that is what you call protection in front of the back four by the way.
"You let the likes of [Emile] Smith Rowe, [Martin] Odegaard bomb forward.
"If you can Yves Bissouma, I think he can turn into a top player in this league, I really do. Yeah I really like him.
"He's one of those players that can be box-to-box but if you ask him to sit there, he's comfortable in possession. Yeah he's a top player."
Bent scored twice during his one-month loan spell with Albion also thinks that Bissouma would make a good addition to Manchester United and Liverpool.
Bissouma has recently been linked to Aston Villa, who have already signed Philippe Coutinho and are closing in on Everton defender Lucas Digne.
Bent said: “Manchester United are crying out for that type of position.
“Liverpool, with Fabinho, he is getting on with age, he could fit into there.
“I think he’s a top player, Bissouma, so it doesn’t surprise me.
“But this, again, shows the ambition of Aston Villa if they go for Bissouma. Lucas Digne. Coutinho.
“You think if they add Bissouma and Digne, then top eight has got to be the minimum, I think.”
Bissouma is currently away on international duty with Mali for the Africa Cup of Nations so any deal this month would be very difficult to do.
Furthermore, Albion will not want to let go of their star player halfway through the season.
Although with 18 months left on the 25-year-old's contract this could be one of the last times the club might be able to negotiate a sizeable fee for the midfielder.
