Alexis Mac Allister is eyeing a happy homecoming after his double strike at Everton.
The Albion midfielder is expected to start against Crystal Palace at the Amex on Friday.
He will be eagerly watched by his array of fans back in Argentina, including football-playing dad and brothers.
Mac Allister’s five goals in the Premier League include four on the road – and a penalty in defeat at home to Manchester City.
His double at Goodison has kept Albion flying in the top half of the table.
He told The Argus: “It was fantastic against Everton.
“We did really well and I could score two goals so that was good.
“I am looking forward to doing something like that at the Amex.
“That would be fantastic and hopefully on Friday we can do something like that.”
REF NAMED FOR BRIGHTON V PALACE
Mac Allister scored a late leveller at Palace last season while his family watched from home while celebrating Mother’s Day.
Asked whether they will be in front of the screen again on Friday, he replied: “Of course! They always support me and they are always there.
“They enjoy it and it was fantastic for me and my family.”
Mac Allister will be missing fellow midfielder Yves Bissouma, who is at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Enock Mwepu must be considered a doubt after reporting a tight hamstring in the cup win at West Brom.
But Adam Lallana was rested for the third round tie and is likely to come back into the engine room.
