ALBION striker Danny Welbeck has admitted he is happy to be back with a bang after his last gasp goal against Chelsea.
The Seagulls looked set to be beaten by the Blues at Stamford Bridge but Welbeck's 90th-minute header earned Graham Potter's side a valuable point.
Despite going behind in the first-half Albion were giving a good account of themselves and improved in the second half and were rewarded for their good work with Welbeck's goal.
Welbeck said: "We know the ability in ourselves and we could have produced a bit more in the first half from the chances we created.
"Obviously in the second half, we kept going and got the goal in the end."
The striker is only recently back from injury and is happy to be the one to get the goal that earned Albion the point.
Welbeck said: "It is nice to get a goal late on that means something for the team and it has been a while since I have been out on the pitch so it is nice to get back and get back amongst the goals.
The striker and his teammates will now prepare for the next match against Everton on News Year's Day and will have plenty of confidence after picking up four points from their last two games.
Welbeck said: "There are a lot of positives, we got three points against Brentford and another one tonight and it gives us a good base to go into the game against Everton.
"It is one we are looking forward to."
