ALBION loanee Kaoru Mitoma has scored his fifth league goal for Union SG this season.

The 24-year-old scored Union's first goal of the game against Cercle Brugge.

Mitoma reacted first to a loose ball in the Brugge box and fired home via a deflection from a defender.

Union were 2-0 down but after Mitoma's goal, they came back to win the game 3-2 and remain top of the Belgian Pro League.

The Japanese forward has proved to be a useful player for the Belgian side as he had popped up with some vital goals in their impressive season.

Mitoma score a hat-trick as a second-half substitute against RFC Seraing, these goals helped Union recover from falling behind in the first half to win the game.

The Japanese international signed a four-year deal when he joined Albion on undisclosed terms from J1 League team Kawasaki Frontale this summer.1
