LIVERPOOL are reportedly set to outbid Albion for the signature of highly-rated Polish wonderkid Kacper Kozlowski.
The Pogoń Szczecin midfielder is rumoured to be close to signing for Graham Potter's side in the upcoming January transfer window.
Kozlowski would have been the third Polish youngster to join the club after the recent arrivals of Jakub Moder and Michał Karbownik.
There was a belief amongst some that a deal for the 18-year-old had been wrapped up but now the Reds are prepared to offer £10 million to capture the player's signature.
According to Polish news outlet Super Express, the Merseyside club are trying to outbid Albion in an effort to bring him to Anfield.
If Graham Potter wants to secure the signature of Kozlowski, he and Albion will have to move fast to stay ahead of the Reds.
An appearance at the Euro 2020 earlier this year for his national side made Kozlowski the youngest footballer to ever appear at a European Championship.
He even beat Jude Bellingham’s record set just a few days before.
Kozlowski has proved to be a very high potential talent already with his exploits in the Polish domestic leagues.
The attacking midfielder could be a long term successor to Pascal Gross and Adam Lallana if he joined Albion over the Reds.
