ALBION players will have to be careful in their upcoming matches to avoid picking up a suspension.

The team have collected 36 booking in the Premier League this season and some are running the risk of being banned for one match.

Shane Duffy has already been given this punishment after his yellow card against Southampton meant he will miss the Wolves match on Wednesday.

He would have missed the match against Tottenham but that has been postponed due to the London side's covid outbreak.

There are three other Albion players currently one yellow card away from being suspended as they are on four bookings for the season.

Yves Bissouma and Joel Veltman are both at risk and Adam Lallana is currently sidelined through injury.

If the midfielder is back in the team before the 19th game of the season then he could get a suspension if he is booked.

If any of these three players pick up a booking then it will put an added strain on Graham Potter's team.

With injuries mounting up the last thing needed is for players to miss games through suspension.

Premier League rules state that if a player collects five yellow cards before the midway point in the season they will be banned for one game.

Albion are the joint-second with Newcastle most undisciplined teams in the league this season as only Leeds have collected more bookings (41).
