ALBION's Dan Burn has joked about facing Tottenham Hotspur's attack by himself amid the club's injury crisis.

Graham Potter will be without central defenders Shane Duffy, Adam Webster and captain Lewis Dunk for the match against Spurs on Sunday.

Dunk and Webster are currently sidelined with injuries, Dunk is expected to be out until the new year.

Duffy will miss the game due to suspension after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Southampton on Saturday.

This leaves Burn as the only recognised centre-back available for the match, although Joel Veltman is expected to fill in and does have some experience in the role.

Burn said: “I hope I’m not facing them on my own.

“It's unfortunate that all of our injuries seem to be in the same area.

“But, I think it's just time for players to step up and ones that maybe haven't played as much game time as possible will come in and prove that we can play at that level.”

Defence is not the only position with injury concerns as the midfield will be without Adam Lallana, Steven Alzate and Jeremy Sarmiento.

Attack will also be without Danny Welbeck, although Leandro Trossard could play after his agent suggested that his elbow injury sustained against the Saints was not as bad as first thought.
