Steven Gerrard will take charge of Aston Villa for the first time when they host Albion.
The former Liverpool skipper has been confirmed as head coach in succession to the sacked Dean Smith.
He will now prepare his side for the Seagulls’ trip to Villa Park a week on Saturday.
It will be Albion's second meeting with Gerrard in recent months.
They drew 0-0 with his Rangers side at Ibrox in pre-season.
Gerrard's arrival is likely to ensure a full house and intense atmosphere for the Villa Park game.
It will also make the fixture the centre of national and international attention.
Gerrard heads south after leading Rangers to the Scottish title last season.
He said: “Aston Villa is a club with a rich history and tradition in English football and I am immensely proud to become its new head coach.”
