ALBION defender Dan Burn could be back to the club quicker than first thought.
The towering utility defender missed the 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday after he picked up an injury in the Carabao Cup match against Leicester City.
Burn landed awkwardly on his knee when going up for a header against the Foxes, during Albion's cup exit.
The defender was sent for scans the following day, which showed a large amount of swelling, rather than something more serious that could have kept him out of action for the long term.

The SunSport have said that the defender could be back for selection after the international break, but could still miss the game against Newcastle United at the Amex Stadium this Saturday.
Albion have proved they can survive without the versatile defender, having come from two goals behind to salvage a respectable draw against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool team.
Graham Potter's players recovered from goals from Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane through great strikes from Enock Mwepu and Leandro Trossard.
Burn will be itching to get back on the pitch as he hopes Albion can finish in the top ten of the Premier League this season.
He told Sky Sports last month: "It is just the mentality that we have got.
"We said as a club we want to be a top ten team at some point."
