Enock Mwepu says he was lost for words after his wonder goal at Anfield.
Now he hopes to enjoy more playing time after a breakthrough week with Albion.
Mwepu and Leandro Trossard were on target as the Seagulls came from two down to draw 2-2 with Liverpool.
A first-time finish whipped over Allison added to Mwepu’s midweek goal at Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.
He also forced the penalty from which Albion scored against Manchester City nine days ago.
Mwepu said of his first Prem goal: “It is really unbelievable for me.
“I am speechless right now because I just couldn’t believe what was happening.
“If you play Liverpool and you score that goal, who wouldn’t be really happy?
“We lost on Wednesday (at Leicester) but that didn’t get in our heads.
“We knew we had a tough game with Liverpool and we just had to recover and prepare ourselves.”
Mwepu enjoyed his first league start since the opening day and his first full 90 minutes in the Prem.
But he said his early weeks with Albion have been “brilliant”.
The Zambia international added: “We have a really good squad, they are helping me to settle in the Premier League and I am really grateful for that.
“I am hoping that I can enjoy more time with the Albion.”
Skipper Lewis Dunk said of Mwepu: “I’m buzzing for him. He has worked hard in training since he got here and he is getting his chance and he is taking it and showing the gaffer why he should be playing.”
