Graham Potter praised an "incredible" Albion performance as they stunned Anfield.
The Seagulls came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 and were close to taking maximum points at Liverpool.
Enock Mwepu and Leandro Trossard scored to secure a point.
Albion boss Potter said: “It was a wonderful game, one of the best games I have been involved in I think. I can’t think of another one better.
"And the guys in the second half, an incredible performance.
"I didn’t think we were too bad in the first half, we were just punished by a really good team.
"They had some really good moments and that can happen here especially.
"We survived the third goal when it gets disallowed and from there we have a bit of belief, a response to score and then the second half was a wonderful performance."
Albion momentarily thought they had gone 3-2 up when Trossard rounded Alisson to cap a great move – but he was a yard offside.
Potter said: “It was a fantastic move, great goal but it’s offside so that’s life.
“But take nothing away from the performance of the team. The way they played, showed togetherness and trust in what they were doing.
“Resilience, character, all the things you want - and also quality.”
