THE Premier League has announced that Mike Dean will take charge of Albion's upcoming Premier League fixture against Liverpool.
The 53-year-old has not officiated a match between Albion and the Reds before, but does have plenty of top-flight experience.
Dean has been in the middle for ten Albion matches in the Premier League, with mixed results for the Seagulls.
Albion have lost four of the games, drawn three and won three, however, the last victory came in 2019, when they beat Huddersfield 1-0, thanks to a Florin Andone goal.
Although, the last time Dean has dismissed an Albion player was Lewis Dunk for a second yellow card in 2018 during a 2-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth.
Dean will be assisted by Eddie Smart, Mark Scholes. The fourth official will be Chris Kavanagh and VAR will be controlled by Kevin Friend and his assistant Simon Beck.
