CHRIS Eubank Jr believes that his next opponent will be Welsh boxer Liam Williams.
Eubank Jr won his last match after he forced Wanik Awdijan to retire on his stool after five rounds on Saturday. The boxer insisted that he managed to break Awdijan's ribs with body punches.
Eubank is now targetting another fight in December, with Williams regularly targeting him and trying to coax him into a fight.
The boxer told Sky Sports: "He has been very vocal on social media talking a lot of trash, and we need to set the record straight.
"That is of interest. There are other names domestically and internationally too.
"It will definitely be a big fight or a world title fight in December. He (Williams) is the frontrunner but nothing has been confirmed.
"It is a great fight, a lot of fans have been calling for it. I would be happy to settle our differences once and for all.
"There has been contact over the past year on social media. He has a lot to say, he has been very disrespectful, and he needs to be brought down a peg or two."
In 2019, Eubank won the vacant WBA interim middleweight title with a technical knockout against Matt Korobrov after he was unable to continue due to a shoulder injury.
Earlier in the year, the boxer won the vacant IBO super-middleweight title after beating James DeGale by unanimous decision at the O2 Arena in London.
The 32-year-old still has high aims for his career in the next 12 months and wants to add more titles to his name.
He said: "Within the next 12 months, I will be world champion at middleweight. No doubt about it. That is the route we are on.
"I have always wanted to get in the ring with Gennadiy Golovkin. Triple G is one of the biggest names in the sport. We were supposed to fight years ago, but it fell through due to contract issues - I have always regretted that.
"I am WBA interim champion, and he will fight for the belt soon. So I will be the number one contender if he wins. That would be a fight I would love to have in early 2022.
"I know that I have that guy's number. The style I have, he has never gone against anything like that.
"guys are so worried about his power that they've just try to survive. But I spar heavyweights and don't get knocked out, so I'm not worried about a middleweight's power.
"I will go in there and fight with fire, and I will take him out."
Golovkin is currently the IBF champion and is about to face off against WBA titleholder Ryota Murata in a world middleweight title unification bout on December 28.
