ALBION fans have been making their bold opinions on social media after the team's good start to the season.
The Seagulls have had a great start to the season, winning four of their first seven games and are currently in 6th place in the Premier League, a position that would see them qualify for the Europa League next season if it can be maintained.
Fans of the club have very much been enjoying the form of the team so far, especially as it means a battle at the upper end rather than at the lower end of the table.
Part of the reason behind the clubs strong start to the season has been the solid defence, having only conceded five goals in seven games, the third-best defensive record in the league, only behind league leaders Chelsea and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
Fans have given the defenders plenty of praise with one fan saying goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is "in the top four keepers in the league" and other fans lauding new signing Marc Cucurella.
Many of them have said that the former Barcelona academy graduate will be the club's player of the season. One fan even said that Albion have "the best defence in the league."
Neal Maupay has also been in the limelight of fans after his blistering start to the season, which has seen him score four goals in seven Premier League games, including a late equaliser against Crystal Palace.
One fan on Twitter predicted that Maupay would score between 15 and 20 goals this season, and another has apologised for doubting the French striker and has dubbed him an "elite" striker.
Fans have also been enjoying the performances of Belgian attacker Leandro Trossard, who scored the winning goal against Brentford last month.
One Albion fan said: "Trossard is our best player this season and our only player that I want on the ball cause he actually makes stuff happen."
Another fan simply said that "Trossard deserves the Ballon d'Or", which is very high praise. The attacker has also been predicted to get "15 goal contributions this season" by another fan.
The boldest opinion came from one optimistic fan who said: "We are winning the league."
