ALBION fans celebrated a last-minute goal against their arch-rivals last night in the Premier League.

Thousands of fans made the trip up to Selhurst Park to watch the Seagull's evening fixture against Crystal Palace.

There was hope before the game that fans would see their team top of the table by beating the Eagles.

However, a penalty from Wilfred Zaha late in the first half had seemed to have put the game beyond Graham Potter's side as they struggled to create many chances of their own.

This was until the final seconds when Neal Maupay lobbed Vicente Guaita to give Albion a precious point and preserve their unbeaten away record for the season.

The goal sent fans into rapturous celebrations.

They will have felt that the late goal was a bit of revenge after Christian Benteke's last gasp winner at the Amex last season.

The point leaves Albion in 6th place in the Premier League table ahead of their match against Arsenal on Saturday.
