Brighton's Yves Bissouma believes he is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is one of the first names on the teamsheet for Albion and an intergral part of their midfield.
That has seen him miss just two of their last 42 Prem games with one of those being due to suspension.
Bissouma made his 100th appearances for the Seagulls and his 90th appearance in the top flight on Saturday in their 1-0 win over Brentford.
But in an interview with BBC Football Focus, which was conducted by his former Albion teammate and club legend Glenn Murray, Bissouma believes he is the best midfielder in the Prem.
He said: "I don't want to be arrogant, but it's me because in my head I am working to be the best.
"So I cannot say another name, I know in the Premier League there are so many good midfielder, but for me, it's me because that gives me the confidence and the energy to work hard to show people I am here and I am Bissouma.
"I just want to be focus on football to play in every game, every week to be good, to help my team win and the rest we will see."
