Former Albion winger Dean Cox opened his account for Worthing in their 4-0 win at Leatherhead last night.
The 34-year-old who joined the Rebels in the summer opened his account for the club and put them ahead in the 21st minute at Fetcham Grove.
Worthing had the chance to double their lead in the 64th minute after being awarded a penalty.
But Dayshonne Golding saw his effort saved before Reece Meekums was also denied on the rebound.
Five minute later Worthing made it 2-0 with Ollie Pearce on target once again.
Meekums and substitute Mo Diallo then made sure of the win as their goals in the last ten minutes gave them a comfortable 4-0 win and their first clean sheet of the season.
The victory moved Worthing up to fourth in the table after winning four out of their last five matches.
Meanwhile, Lewes stretched their unbeaten run to five matches as they won 3-1 away at Merstham.
The Rooks took the lead in the eighth minute through Ollie Tanner.
But with nine minutes left of the half the hosts equalised through James Richmond.
Kyron Richards then fired the Rooks back in front with the last kick of the first half.
Tanner then completed his brace in the 61st minute to secure the win.
That win moved them up to fifth in the table just four points behind leaders Kingstonian.
In the all Sussex clash in the Isthmian Premier at The Camping World Community Stadium Horsham drew 1-1 with Bognor.
The hosts took the lead in the 18th minute as Harvey Sparks’ cross was met by Will Miles at the back post, who smashed the ball home.
However, that lead lasted 15 minutes as Craig Robson headed Bognor level.
The result leaves Bognor in ninth in the table, while Horsham sit 20th.
