Graham Potter has praised his side for how they approached their 1-0 win over Brentford.
The Seagulls had to battle hard for periods without the ball but then came up with a late winner courtesy of Leandro Trossard.
The Belgian international received a pass from Alexis Mac Allister on the edge of the box and curled his effort into the bottom corner.
However, Potter praised his players for how they approached their win over a confident Brentford side.
He said: “Well I think we understood what was ahead of against team that are full of confidence having got promoted, it was their second home game, having beaten Arsenal in their first and being unbeaten.
“It’s never going to be perfect, you are going to have to suffer for long periods of the game.
"But we started to have longer attacks and finally the margins went in our favour.”
