Albion made a piece of club history today – and not just by winning their first match at Brentford’s new home.
For a period of this afternoon’s game, the Seagulls had ten full internationals on the pitch at the same time.
That is the first time that has ever happened in the club’s history.
Robert Sanchez’s recent debut for Spain meant there were nine internationals in the starting XI.
The tally increased to ten when Adam Webster went off injured and was replaced by Poland midfielder Jakub Moder.
