Brighton defender Michal Karbownik has joined Greek giants Olympiacos on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old joined the Seagulls from Polish side Legia Warsaw along with his international colleage Jakub Moder in October, before then heading back out on loan to Legia for the rest of the season.
But in January he was recalled from his loan spell at Legia.
Karbownik made just one appearance for Albion in the second half of last season playing the full 90 in minutes in their 1-0 defeat to Leicester in their FA Cup fifth round in February.
He also made two appearances for the U23s last season.
Karbownik then made his first appearance of the season on Tuesday playing the full 90 minutes in the Seagulls 2-0 win over Cardiff in the Carabao Cup.
Albion head coach Graham Potter said: “This is a good opportunity for Michal to play regular football, for one of the biggest teams in Greece.
“There is also the prospect of Europa League football, which at his age would be really good for his development.
“We will be monitoring his progress throughout the season and we wish him the best of luck for the rest of the campaign.”
