Brighton midfielder Taylor Richards has signed a new three-year deal at the club.
The 20-year-old joined the Seagulls in July 2019 from Manchester City.
He was a regular for Albion's U23s in the 2019/20 season making 19 appearances in all competitions scoring six goals and picking up three assists.
Richards made his first-team debut in September 2019 in their Carabao Cup third round defeat to Aston Villa at the Amex in September 2019.
Last season he joined League One side Doncaster on loan where he made 48 appearances, scoring 11 goals and picked up five assists.
That left him second on the list of Rovers top scorers in the 2020/21 season, with only forward Fejiri Okenabirhie (12) scoring more.
Richards was an unused substitute for the Seagulls in their 2-1 win over Burnley in the Premier League last weekend.
Head coach Graham Potter said: “Taylor has impressed during pre-season and he was deservedly part of the first-team squad at Burnley last weekend.
“He had a very productive loan spell at Doncaster last season, and this new contract is a reward for his hard work and progress he’s made since he arrived.”
