Brighton head coach Graham Potter has explained the reasons why Joel Veltman and Aaron Connolly was not available for their 2-1 win over Burnley.
In his press conference on Thursday Potter has admitted that most of his squad bar Tariq Lamptey (hamstring), Dan Burn (knee), Danny Welbeck (thigh), Kjell Scherpen (ankle) and Moises Caicedo (knee) were not available.
However, Caicedo was fit enough to make the bench as an unused substitute at Turf Moor.
But there was no Veltman or Connolly in the side and Potter revealed the reasons behind their absences.
He said:“Joel was a close contact and Aaron was for personal reasons.”
