Graham Potter can’t wait to see fans at the Amex this evening.
And he hopes his team can strike up a strong rapport with supporters in the coming season.
Albion complete their pre-season schedule by facing Getafe (7pm).
Supporters will be back in the stands in greater numbers this term after the memorable end to a miserable 2020-21 when 8,000 saw the win over Manchester City.
Head coach Potter said: “It’s going to be really exciting and something we will need to get used to again in a positive way.
“The fans who were there against Manchester City for the last game at the Amex last season were amazing.
“We were really helped by them to come from 2-0 down and it made it a special night.
“It will be nice for our fans to see some of the players in the flesh for the first time.

“We hope we can play well and get the crowd behind us this season. There’s a lot to look forward to.
“We've missed the fans. It has been about 18 months and we're looking forward to seeing them again.
“We are really looking forward to having that support back and we will need our fans’ help to keep the stadium at full capacity.
“We ask fans are patient with the new entry processes when coming into the stadium over the next few weeks.
“The measures are complex and may take a little longer to enter the stadium than usual but they’re there to help keep everyone safe, limit any risks of further spread and are a small price to pay if it means we can keep the Amex at full capacity throughout the season.”
