Albion will take their time over a decision on Shane Duffy.
The big centre-back played 80 minutes of the 3-1 friendly win at Luton.
He is widely expected to go back out on loan after spending last season at Celtic.
But boss Graham Potter said there are currently no plans in place as his other centre-backs play catch-up.
Adam Webster and Lewis Dunk have both missed the two friendlies to date through injury but are expected to feature against Getafe on Saturday.
Dan Burn limped off although initial indications were he had not suffered a bad injury.
Albion are also evaluating the progress of Leo Ostigard, who spent last term on loan at Coventry.
Potter said he has no plans to sign a replacement for Ben White, whose £50 million move to Arsenal was confirmed on Friday.
Duffy had a decent game defensively and was keen to bring the ball out of defence.
Potter told The Argus: “He has done really well since he has been back.
“He has had a disappointing experience up in Scotland, which can happen to anybody.
“We know Shane, we know his qualities, we know what he brings.
“He came back and has worked really hard.

“He has been really good in the group and he has played well.
“There are no plans at the moment.
“We have obviously lost Ben. We need to assess everything because Lewis and Adam have had issues so we need to make good decisions.”
