Albion are still unsure when Tariq Lamptey will be back in action.
But it does not look like being any time soon.
The wing-back has not played since the 0-0 draw at Fulham last December due to hamstring issues.
Albion used Joel Veltman and later Michal Karbownik on the right flank of a back four as they won 3-1 at Luton yesterday.
Graham Potter then confirmed Lamptey had not yet returned to training.
Albion’s head coach added: “He is not progressing as well as we would like.
“Because of the nature of the injury, we have to be really careful with him.
“It is still frustrating at the moment.”
Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo will join the Albion squad for training tomorrow.
GRAHAM POTTER'S VERDICT ON BRIGHTON'S 3-1 WIN AT LUTON
Caicedo played in the Copa America in Brazil.
Potter said: “He has had to do his quarantine coming back from the competition.”
Alexis Mac Allister is now back in Brighton after suffering elimination from the Olympics with Argentina.
But he must observe a three-week break before returning to action.
