Albion fear Danny Welbeck will miss the start of the Premier League season.
The former England striker was not among 22 players involved in today’s 3-1 friendly win at Luton.
He also sat out the 0-0 draw at Rangers last week after feeling his hamstring.
Now head coach Graham Potter has revealed doubts over Welbeck’s chances of playing in the opener at Burnley two weeks from today.

Speaking at Kenilworth Road, the Seagulls head coach said: “We are just getting to the bottom of the extent of it.
“Obviously disappointing for us and for him. It looks like he is going to miss the start (of the season) at this stage but it is what it is.”
