Brighton defender Ben White leaves the England hotel this morning
Ben White has described his six weeks with England as the best time of his career so far.
The Albion defender left the squad hotel this morning after their Euro 2020 dreams ended in shoot-out defeat by Italy.
He played in two friendlies ahead of the tournament and was on the bench in early games.
White tweeted: “What to say. Gutted is an understatement. I have never been as proud of a group of people as I have with this lot.
NO DEAL YET FOR BEN WHITE AS ARSENAL LEAD THE RACE
“To spend six weeks with them has been the best time of my short career and I’ve loved every minute of it.
“All I can say is thank you for all your support and I promise you we will come back stronger and even better. This is just the start!!"
