Ben White heads for his summer break with his club future still unclear.
But Albion’s position remains that there is no need to sell as interest continues in their England centre-back.
White enjoyed his adventure with the Three Lions squad to a backdrop of suggestions of offers from Arsenal and interest elsewhere.
Although Albion’s style would not be to publicly put a price tag on any of their top assets, The Argus has been told there is currently nothing on the table they would accept.
Arsenal have shown most interest in White but no agreement has been reached in terms of a fee.
A well-placed source has told The Argus it would take a number which makes it “nonsensical to say no” to move White.
Arsenal and other potential suitors are well aware of that.
As expected, White did not make the matchnight 23 for the Euro 2020 final against Italy.
He will not be the only Albion player who is of interest to others.
It is understood there have been conversations but no significant bids for any players.
Percy Tau is being linked with interest in Belgium after struggling to make an impact in the Premier League.
Under-23s right-back Romaric Yapi became the latest fringe player to leave the club yesterday as he joined Eredivisie side Vitesse.
