The man who helped Alan Mullery take Albion to the top flight for the first time has died.
Ken Craggs was assistant boss at the Goldstone during those heady days which saw the Seagulls promoted twice in three seasons in the late 1970s.
He later worked in for Jimmy Melia and Brian Horton when they were in charge.
Members of the 1970s Albion team were being told the news this afternoon.
