Sussex could face selection headaches rather than be struggling to put a team together tonight against Essex in the Vitality Blast at Hove (7pm).
That is after four players have returned to the squad.
Ollie Robinson, Delray Rawlins and Henry Crocombe will return to the side after missing the team's last three Blast fixtures while isolating.
Chris Jordan is also in contention having recovered from a groin injury that kept him out of the matches against Middlesex and Glamorgan last week.
Ali Orr has also been added to the squad.
The Sharks will be without seamer George Garton who is away with England but isolating after a Covid outbreak within their squad.
Opening batsman Phil Salt will also miss out as he is part of the new-look England squad for their ODI series against Pakistan.
However, his England debut did not quite go to plan, despite England cruising to a nine-wicket victory in Cardiff yesterday.
He opened the batting along with Dawid Malan after Pakistan had been skittled out for 141 in just 35 overs.
But Salt was the only man England lost in their run chase as he flashed at a delivery outside the off-stump from Shaheen Afridi, which he got a thick inside edge on with the ball going to Sohaib Maqsood in the slips.
That meant his debut ended with him scoring seven runs.
Sussex sit fourth in the South Group and know a win over the Eagles, plus other results going their way could see them go top of the group.
Essex had made a tough start to the season having only won one of their opening six matches.
But four wins in their last five matches has seen them move up to sixth in table and given them an outside chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
They travel to Hove without one of their star men Dan Lawrence who like Salt was called up to England’s ODI squad.
Sussex's 14-man squad to face Essex: Luke Wright (C), Will Beer, Ravi Bopara, Oli Carter, Mitch Claydon, Henry Crocombe, Travis Head, Chris Jordan, Archie Lenham, Ali Orr, Delray Rawlins, Ollie Robinson, Harrison Ward, David Wiese.
