Albion fans were last waiting for more news about Moises Caicedo after he suffered an injury blow.
The Ecuador midfielder was stretchered off early in his nation’s Copa America match with hosts Brazil on Sunday evening.
Caicedo recovered sufficiently to join the celebrations in the changing room after a 1-1 draw took them into the quarter-finals.
He underwent an MRI scan yesterday with a replacement lined up to take his place.

An Argus contact with the squad said Caicedo told reporters he had inflammation and some pain in the knee but added: “He told me he was feeling better. I don’t think it’s a serious injury.”
Caicedo has remained with the squad in Brazil as they prepare to play Argenrina in the quarters at the weekend.
