Jurgen Locadia could be handed a route back into European football.

But it is not likely to come via his former club PSV.

The Eindhoven outfit who this week brought back old favourites Davy Propper and Marco van Ginkel are not believed to be looking at a reunion with the striker they sold to Albion in January, 2018.

But he IS one of the names on the wish list at mid-table FC Twente as his time at Cincinnati comes to an end.

Twente boss Ron Jans is a long-time admirer of Locadia and was behind his move to MLS when he was Cincinnati boss.

At the time, Jans said: “I’ve known Jurgen for a long time.

“He proved since he was a young boy that, when you say Locadia, you think of scoring goals.”

It is believed in the Netherlands that the only potential barrier to a move for Locadia is financial.

They would only be able to take him on loan – and even that would require Albion to be flexible.
