It is nine years tonight since Danny Welbeck produced a moment of match-winning magic in the Euros.
The striker’s back-heeled flick secured a 3-2 win over Sweden in the 2012 tournament.
Albion fans would love to see more of that sort of style next season as the club work to bring back the out-of-contract striker.
Welbeck scored some eye-catching goals for the Seagulls last season.
His finish in Kyiv on June 15, 2012 was also a clever one and eliminated Sweden from the competition.
He turned home a low cross from Theo Walcott, who had earlier brought England level from 2-1 down.
England went on to reach the quarter-finals, where they lost on penalties to Italy following a 0-0 draw.
