Former England defender and manager Stuart Pearce believes Albion skipper Lewis Dunk was his surprise omission from England’s provisional squad for the Euro 2020.
The 29-year-old has a solitary cap for his country which came in November 2018 but has not received a call-up since.
However, his teammate and fellow defender Ben White was named in the 33-man squad by England manager Gareth Southgate this afternoon.

Speaking on TalkSPORT: “I am going to throw a name in, who people think wouldn’t have a chance but certainly we (West Ham) have played them recently and he was suspended for the game in Lewis Dunk.
“He has been playing particularly well and I think if you ask anyone at Brighton they would agree with me.
"Then one of his teammates Ben White has got in the squad and they might say he is now slightly ahead of him.”
