Albion defender Ben White has been named in Gareth Southgate's provisional 33-man squad for Euro 2020.

The 23-year-old has made 36 league appearances - which is more than any other Seagulls player.

Southgate had a closer look at the defender earlier this month in their 1-1 draw against West Ham at the Amex.

White is yet to represent England at any age level and will now have to wait until next Tuesday (June 1) to see if he makes the trimmed 26-man squad that will go to the Euros.

Everton's Ben Godfrey and Sheffield United keeper Aaron Ramsdale join White in receiving their first call-ups, but there is no place for his former Leeds teammate Patrick Bamford.

But he will link up the squad with one of his former Leeds teammates Kalvin Philips, who has been named in the squad despite being one of three injury concerns alongside with Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson.

Manchester United teenager Mason Greenwood has been recalled for the first time since being sent home after his debut in Iceland.

But Spurs defender Eric Dier misses out on the squad.

The 33-man squad in full is:

Dean Henderson, Sam Johnstone, Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Chilwell, Conor Coady, Ben Godfrey, Reece James, Harry Maguire, Tyrone Mings, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Ben White, Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, Jesse Lingard, Mason Mount, Kalvin Phillips, Declan Rice, James Ward-Prowse, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Phil Foden, Mason Greenwood, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka, Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling, Ollie Watkins.
