Three Albion players have received their now customary call-ups by the Republic of Ireland.

And there will be a fourth Seagulls connection involved when they play Andorra and Hungary early next month.

Aaron Connolly, Shane Duffy and Jayson Molumby are joined for the first time in the senior set-up by Daniel Mandroiu.

The now 22-year-old midfielder was with the Seagulls for four years and played for Simon Rusk’s under-23s.

He helped them secure promotion to the top-flight of Premier League development football and scored in an EFL Trophy tie at Oxford United.

Mandroiu joined Bohemians of Dublin after leaving Albion in December, 2018.

He has since made a name for himself in the Irish league, scoring some spectacular goals, and is now with Shamrock Rovers.
