Adam Webster believes Albion must hold onto leads if they are going to kick on in the future.
The Seagulls drew 1-1 at the Amex against West Ham, despite going ahead through Danny Welbeck's 50th Premier League goal.
They have now dropped 25 points from winning positions this season, which is the most in the division and Webster admits things need to change.
He said: “I don’t know if I am right but I think we have dropped the most points in the league from winning positions and that has got to change moving forward, if we really want to kick on as a club.
“It is frustrating as it has happened too often this season.”
