Albion have secured an unprecedented fifth successive season in the top flight.
Their Premier League safety was confirmed this evening as Burnley won 2-0 at Fulham.
Ashley Westwood and ex-Seagulls striker Chris Wood scored in the first half.
The result relegates Fulham, who are still ten points behind the Seagulls with just three games to play.

It also drops Albion down a place in the table to 16th.
With three games yet to play, this is the earliest the Seagulls have secured safety in their four Premier League seasons to date.
They celebrated after beating Mancheter United with two games to go (which were daunting trips to Manchester City and Liverpool) in 2017-18.
Two years, a defeat for Cardiff City saw Albion safe as they prepared for their penultmate fixture of the campaign, at Arsenal.
The final point required last term came in match No.37 as they drew at home to Newcastle.
Albion spent four seasons in the top tier between 1979 and 1983.
