How Albion players rated in the 2-0 win over Leeds.
ROBERT SANCHEZ 7/10
Easy to say he had a quiet afternoon but he was strong, assertive and loud during that period in the first half when Leeds were getting balls into the box.
BEN WHITE 8/10
Solid at the back on his return to from suspension and strode forward when he had chance.
LEWIS DUNK 9/10
Has always been able to win and clear the ball but is becoming increasingly impressive in way he wins, retains and uses it. That assured chest back to Sanchez rather than heading away summed it up.
ADAM WEBSTER 7/10
Played his part defensively and was increasingly purposeful in carrying the ball forward after one early mishap.
JOEL VELTMAN 7/10
A return to the wing-back role which offered scope to get forward. Might have scored in the second half to cap a solid display down his flank.
YVES BISSOUMA 8/10
The engine room of the performance. One passage of play saw him win the ball twice, be given a poor return pass and then win it back twice more. Helps others play.
PASCAL GROSS 7/10
A return to midfield. Was not hugely prominent but helped keep the ball moving and his pinpoint penalty was a key moment.
DAN BURN 8/10
Maybe an unsung star of the performance. Back at wing-back and got in some really good interventions in that first half period when Leeds were getting a lot of balls into the danger area. Always shows good intent galloping forward and he picked out a couple of decent cutbacks of the second half.
LEANDRO TROSSARD 7/10
Had two shots saved early on, the first after good footwork, but was guilty of a bad miss right on half-time. Hit and miss but generally lively.
NEAL MAUPAY 7/10
Lots of good work with his pressing and in general play and his ability to hassle defenders played a part in the second goal. But showed a lack of confidence when he scuffed a shot wide.
DANNY WELBECK 9/10
A decisive performance to almost secure top-flight status. Forced the crucial penalty, created perhaps the best chance out of nothing (for Trossard) and scored a super goal.
SUBS
Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Jakub Moder and Alexis Mac Allister all went on for the very final stages.
