Albion did the double over Leeds as they beat them 2-0 at the Amex to take another huge step towards safety.
The Seagulls took the lead in the 13th minute as Neal Maupay was pulled back by Jack Harrison.
From the resulting free kick, Pascal Gross swung a ball into Leandro Trossard on the edge of the box, who found Danny Welbeck.
His touch was a little bit loose but the ball founds its way back to him and then as he went to shoot he was pulled down by Ezgjan Alioski and referee Chris Kavanagh immediately pointed to the spot.
Gross stepped up and scored the spot kick.
Albion did have plenty of other good to extend their lead, but did eventually do so in some style.
A loose goal from Illan Meslier was headed away by Adam Webster and the ball bounced all the way through to Neal Maupay.
Leeds managed to hook the ball away to Welbeck on the edge of the box and he took the ball down with a lovely piece of skill before taking a touch and firing into the bottom corner.
