The new season is in full swing after 18 months of inactivity.
This afternoon's meeting was their second of the year after the track had stood quiet since October 2019.
There is an early evening seven-race card at Brighton tomorrow.
The 2020 season was called off due to Covid-19 but things are now getting busy, albeit behind closed doors for now.
Paul Ellison, executive director at both Brighton and Fontwell Park, is glad to be back racing and cannot wait to welcome crowds back next month.
He told The Argus: “We are delighted to back racing at Brighton and are looking forward to welcoming the public back on May 18.”
Pat Cosgrave, pictured below, enjoyed the sea air as he rode three winners today, two of them trained by ex-Prem striker Mick Quinn.
