Graham Potter has told two of his lesser-used widemen they can have a part to play in the run-in.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Jose Izquierdo both caused problems after going on as subs at Sheffield United.
Jahanbakhsh has generally been used very late in games while Izquierdo has recovered from a serious knee injury and had not featured since Chris Hughton’s days as manager.
Asked whether more could be seen of them, head coach Potter said: “Absolutely. Ali was the first sub we called.
“He has been on before but it’s just we haven’t had a need necessarily for Ali - but he showed his quality and I’m pretty sure he can help us.”
Albion remain seven points clear of 18th place but Potter played down a suggestion they are comfortable.

He said: “It’s doesn’t feel comfortable to me because we need more points.
“It’s as simple as that. We want try to get more points.
“Of course if we win tonight then you start to look at accumulating quite a decent total.
“As it is, we have to just reset and say, ‘let’s focus on Saturday’.”
