Albion head coach Graham Potter has given an update on Florin Andone, after he went off early on his return from injury for the U23s in their 3-0 win over Southampton on Friday.
The Romanian international got his first game time since June 2020 after suffering a knee liagament injury.
However, his comeback lasted just 11 minutes after he looked to have tweaked his hamstring.
U23s joint-managers Andrew Crofts and Shannon Ruth took no chances and Andone was replaced by Evan Ferguson.
But Potter admitted the substitution was 'precautionary'.
He said: "It was more precautionary I think. He had a feeling in the top his leg in the hamstring area.
"So with the time he has had out he came off, but it is nothing too serious and we expect him to be back in training in the next two to three days."
