A former Albion and Everton star has revealed which of his old clubs he expects to have the Monday blues at the Amex.
Aspinall, who played for the title-winning Toffees in the Eighties and the Seagulls late in his career, made his prediction on the BBC’s Albion Unlimited podcast last night.
He can see Albion taking three points as one of four wins he says they will pick up during the run-in.
Aspinall said: “We have to go into this game full of confidence.
“The last four Premier League games, there were 2-1 losses against the second and third in the league, Man United and Leicester, a great win away at Southampton and a great win against Newcastle.
“We have to be full of confidence.
“We have to go into this game thinking we can beat them - and I think we CAN beat them.
“And I think we WILL beat them.
“I think we are playing some great football.
“Performances have been brilliant, we are just not getting the results.
“Sometimes you need the rub of the green.”
THIS IS THE POTTER COMPARISON TO MAKE
He added: “If I was a Brighton player, I would be going into this game full of confidence and hoping we can get three points from it.”
