Albion striker Aaron Connolly has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their upcoming Euro qualifiers at the end of this month, despite having missed their last two games due to injury.
Head coach Graham Potter had confirmed in his presser ahead of their win over Southampton last weekend that the 21-year-old had 'a cracked rib' and would not be back until 'after the international break'
However, Connolly himself was hoping that he would be fit for Ireland's first Euro 2022 qualifier against Serbia on Wednesday.
